Honestly, when I was dealing with constant worry around ED, what helped most was finding ways to manage stress overall. I started doing more cardio and limiting my alcohol – which was harder than expected. I also cut down time on forums and Reddit stuff that made me obsess over worst-case scenarios. Seeing a therapist helped shift my focus too. It wasn’t all quick, but after a few weeks, the thought loop eased up.

I actually stayed at Abbeycare for a while when I was getting clean, and learning how mental health, stress, and addiction all connect really made things click for me. It helped me understand that tackling ED means looking at the bigger picture, not just the symptoms.
