Why do businesses still avoid relying only on email for document transfers?
#3
Email was designed for convenience and speed, not for airtight confidentiality. By default, email messages can be intercepted in transit, spoofed to look like they’re from someone else, or accidentally forwarded to the wrong person. While encryption standards like TLS and PGP exist, they aren’t always enabled—or user-friendly.
