I think for most TikTok creators, upgrading your lighting setup makes a bigger difference than jumping to a DSLR or mirrorless. A simple ring light or a couple of softbox lights can drastically improve clarity, even on smartphones like your Galaxy S21. Stabilization-wise, I’d recommend a tripod for static shots and maybe a gimbal if you want smooth motion shots — phone gimbals are pretty affordable now and can give that cinematic feel.
Personally, I mostly stick with my iPhone for recording. I even installed TikTok 18 through Scarlet iOS on it since I wanted to test out some of the extra features, and I downloaded it directly from scarletiosstore.com.
