Solo trip to Chicago

I never went anywhere alone. My whole family encourages me to take a solo trip, and now I have decided to take bus tours of chicago alone and try something new. I am a little confused and worried about my trip. If anyone does a solo trip, then suggest some tips that are helpful for solo travelers. I am waiting for your opinion.
