What’s the Best Agent for New Players

As a new player in Valorant, I’m struggling to decide which agent would be the best to start with. I want someone who’s forgiving but still useful in most situations. Should I go for a Duelist, Controller, or maybe a Sentinel? What did you find most helpful when choosing your first main?

When I first started Valorant I had the same dilemma and ended up choosing Sage because her healing and revive made her useful even when my aim was inconsistent. At that time a friend showed me cheat in valorant on his setup but what actually helped me improve was focusing on agents with straightforward abilities so I could learn positioning and team play without getting overwhelmed.
